We all know what Alice saw when she went through the looking glass, now it is our Green Rice Artist’s turn to show the public what wondrous things they might see in theirs! Opening Friday, July 3rd, we will host a new show entitled Through the Looking Glass. As Lewis Carroll stated,
"The world is a looking-glass, and gives back to every man
the reflection of his own face. Frown at it, and it will in turn look sourly
upon you; laugh at it and with it, and it is a jolly kind companion”.
The show will run from July 3rd to August 2nd and will feature over 10 of our artists with broadly varying styles of work. From oils to acrylics, woodwork to mixed media sculpture, be prepared to expect the unexpected! Participating artists include Paul Hastings, Carla Garrison, Jay Thompson, Aaron Alderman, Holt McLean, Dwight Hartsell, Jason Basden, Laura Arecco, Wendy Arundel, Randy L. Dean, KC Collins, Kate Vasseur, Matt Hooker and Patrick Harris.
